I have recently qualified with the European College of Bowen Therapists and my new clinic is set in a relaxing beautiful rural setting at Illston on the Hill, Leicestershire .
My former career as a qualified Occupational Therapist working for many years in Dublin in spinal and head injuries, post stroke rehabilitation and children, has given me a life long interest in how we can influence our health and recovery from many ailments and injuries.
Recently I became more interested in developments in neuroscience and how our brain interacts with and influences our health . I decided to return after a long break to my original career roots and study The Bowen Technique which I believe facilitates the body’s own healing processes which, together with a sensible lifestyle, helps contribute to a healthy body and mind .
I am a member of the Bowen Therapists Professional Association BTPA and the European College of Bowen Studies ECBS and adhere to a strict code of ethics and undertake Continued Professional Development each year.
